CivicEye is experiencing explosive growth and recently established their headquarters in beautiful midtown Charlotte. To support this growth, the company is looking for an RFP Specialist to play an integral role in our responses to government bids. The RFP Specialist will report to the Revenue Operations Manager and work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams acting as a project manager to prepare response drafts to match client requirements.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support the go-to-market process and sales organization by compiling formal responses for local and state law enforcement agencies and prosecutor’s offices
  • Coordinate RFx process with all applicable departments, compile and produce bid briefs, and conduct Go/No-Go meetings
  • Complete RFx in CivicEye branded template while meeting format requirements and deadlines
  • Identify opportunities for improvements in responses
  • Partner with marketing and product teams to ensure our products and services are best represented
  • Identify and register all RFx and bid opportunities through various platforms and channels
  • Maintain up to date connections with all bidding systems used within the geographical markets that the business is supporting
  • Maintain repository of standard content
  • Monitors trends and make recommendations on the most effective response approaches
  • Conduct in-depth market research in geographic areas that the business is supporting

Education & Experience

Required Education / Experience

  • BA Required

Preferred Education / Experience

  • 2 – 5 years’ experience in bid proposal or professional writing. Government bid experience a plus!

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
