Business Development Representative (BDR)

The Opportunity

As one of our BDR’s, you will increase the qualified pipeline of new opportunities for our Sales team. In addition to building your sales experience through prospecting (70 calls per day) and continuous, hands-on training with our management team, you will simultaneously build a large and high-quality network of professionals. The day-to-day:

  • Utilize a consistent contact process via phone, email and chat to follow-up, nurture and qualify leads generated by marketing campaigns
  • Prospect, educate and qualify leads to create sales-ready opportunities
  • Research customers, identify decision makers, and educate prospects
  • Effectively motivate trial signups to make a buying decision in target accounts
  • Consistently use to document prospect interaction, ensuring efficient lead management
  • Develop and maintain daily plans to maximize phone time, including pre-call planning, adhering to metrics and customizing scripts to market segments and prospect type

Education & Experience:

Required Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of business development experience

Preferred Education / Experience:

  • Familiarity with Salesforce and/or other sales tracking tools preferred
  • Prior B2G or SaaS sales, a plus
  • Experience with fast paced PE-backed/growth-stage companies
